Son of Andrew Giles and Mary Sweeney of Kane, IL, he married Mary O'Grady at Annunciation Catholic Church 14 Feb 1897. He was a postal clerk and carrier, and later worked for the county surveyor's office. Suffering from tuberculosis, he was sent to the drier climate of San Antonio for his health. He died there and his body returned to Houston. Rev Father Nicholson of Sacred Heart church conducted his funeral rites. KatieMac (#46896687)
