Magdalena Cobos, 73, died Sunday, November 8, 1981 in the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell of a stroke. She had been a resident of Lovell for the past 48 years.

She was born in Mexico July 22, 1909, the daughter of Miguel and Delores Hernandez and come to the United States in 1923. She married Jose Cobos April 5, 1924 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Lovell.

Survivors include her husband, Jose, of Lovell; three sons, Benigno Cobos of Lakewood, Colorado, Martin Cobos of Denver, Colorado, and Rudolfo Cobos of Chicago, Illinois; four daughters, Angeleta Padilla of Lovell, Juanita Gonzales of Casper, Wyoming, Marcelina Hernandez of Powell, Wyoming, and Socorro Ramirez of Tacoma, Washington; 31 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Haskell Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be recited Tuesday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father John Flannigan officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
