Susie (Ross) Glass, 88, of Oak Hill Health Care Center and formerly of Route 3 Box 383, Waynesboro, died Sunday (June 24, 2001).
She was born Dec. 27, 1912 in Augusta County the daughter of Clinton Daniel and Flora (Shreves) Ross.
She was a member of the Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the Brethren and was retired from Con-Agra. She attended the Waynesboro Senior Center and Adult Day Care Center, and was active member of Christian Women's Work of Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elwood Glass; three sons, Bobby, Wayne and Doug; and a daughter, Joann Glass.
Survivors include a son, Donald Glass of Crimora; a daughter, Geraldine Eutsler of Waynesboro; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service by the Rev. Dee Flory with burial at Riverview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny, Roger and Melvin Glass, Ray, Jimmy and Paul Ross.
Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro and other times at the residence of her son at 80 Silver Bullett Lane Crimora, Va.
