My Great-Great Grandmother. Amelia was the daughter of William Scott and Eliza Elston of Elkhart County, Indiana. On March 3, 1867 she married Andrew Jackson Nutter, a Civil War veteran. Andrew and Amelia had 10 children. Billy and Alice were born in Indiana. Albert, Jenny, Minnie, Alta, Otto, Andrew, and Sam and Cora were born after the family moved on to Dunn County, Wisconsin. On April 19, 1923 Amelia and Andrew died just 32 minutes apart, neither knowing the other had passed. Their children had a special double vault built so they could be buried side-by-side.
