Mrs. Rosa Walace, 78, died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Hirsch of Casner, Wednesday after an illness of more than a month.

Rosa Ella Scott was born near Mt. Zion on June 10, 1855, and lived most of her life in Mt. Zion and Casner. She was married to John Wallace March 9, 1881. Her husband preceded her in death Feb. 5, 1908. Two children also preceded her in death.

She leaves six children, Mrs. Belle Adams of LaPlace, Mrs. George Tohill, Mrs. Flandia Hirsch and Fred Wallace, all of Casner, Ora Wallace of Pembina, N. D. and Ed Wallace of Britt, Ia. She also is survived by 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services at the Casner church and burial at Mt. Zion.
