A WWII army veteran he served in the South Pacific 1941-1945, a Prescott resident since 1958, he is proceeded in death by his wife Elsie, daughter Winifred, sons Edison, and Earl Jr. and grandson David E. Lister all of Prescott. Survived by daughter Earlita & husband Andrew Borucki, granddaughters Lisa Jones-Reed(Rob), Andrea Borucki, grandson Alex Borucki, son- Ernie & wife Sandra Lister, grandson Jon-Michael Lister & granddaughter Taylor Lister; son- Edgar Lister, grandsons Mark & Drew Lister, granddaughter Julia, of San Diego, California, and son- Eno Lister of Prescott, and Louise Morales of Paulden, granddaughter Anita Melick of Newark, Ohio; great- granddaughters Marissa, & Felicia Jones of Prescott, and numerous relatives on the Navajo Reservation and in the Phoenix area.
Chai Earl will be remembered as beloved father, grandfather, uncle, friend, story teller, singer, and teacher of traditional Navajo ways. He will be missed.
A celebration of life service will be 10:00AM today Saturday March 28, 2008 at the Hendricks Auditorium 300 S Granite Street Prescott, AZ.; with burial to follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, AZ.
