A long-time employee at the Ideal Cement Company, Richard L. Bradrick, died while at work Tuesday afternoon.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home with the Rev. Marion Knoell officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Elnora; two sons, Morris of San Diego, Calif., and Ronald of Kearney; his mother, Mrs. Callie Bradrick, Superior; four grandchildren; and one brother, Keith Bradrick, Fremont.

Richard L. Bradrick, one of three children of Leo and Callie Stewart Bradrick, was born on a farm near Formoso, Kansas, on October 18 1915.

Richard grew up on the family farm and attended the Blue Bird School at Formoso. At the age of 17, he moved to Superior with his parents, where he finished his education, graduating from Superior High School with the class of 1936.

Richard was married to Elnora Dew on February 2, 1940, at Morganville, Kansas. To this union three sons were born. Richard was proud of his sons and their accomplishments, and especially enjoyed the love of this grandchildren.

Richard and Elnora made their home for the last 36 years at the Ideal Cement Village, where he was employed as an electrician. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Local Union #83 of The United Cement Lime and Gypsum Workers, and the Superior Elks Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his father, who died in 1965; a twin brother, Ronald, who died in 1933 and his son, Dr. Richard W. Bradrick, who died in 1973. His survivors are his mother, Mrs. Callie Bradrick of Superior; his widow, Elnora of Superior; two sons, Ronald D. Bradrick and his wife, Sharon, of Kearney, Nebraska and Maurice A. Bradrick of San Diego, California;one brother, Keith of Fremont; his daughter-in-law, Brenda Bradrick of St. Louis, Missouri; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Marie Nash, of Westland, Michigan; his aunt, Mrs. Howard Quick, of Palmetto, Florida; four grandchildren, Sean, Shelton, Brittany and Richard Scott; many nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Brad died on August 10, 1976 while at work at the Ideal Cement Plant at the age of 60 years, 9 months and 23 days.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August 13, 1976, at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marion Knoell officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery of Superior. Arrangements by the Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior.
