Louisa Wheeler, wife of John Wheeler, passed away at her home in Jackson Corners Thursday night, September 12th, after a long illness. Mrs. Wheeler was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew McCann, and had made her home in Jackson Corners since 1912. Her husband and one son, Allan Wheeler, an employe, at Pine Plains Garage, and two grandchildren, Allan W. and Lois Wheeler, survive. Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler observed their 51st wedding anniversary on September 2nd. Some years ago Mrs. Wheeler was very active in the work of the Elizaville Methodist church and served as musician, and her interests were also In the Elizavllle Grange. She had been a teacher in her earlier years, in New York city and Batavia, before coming to Jackson Corners. Funeral services were private, Sunday, from the Peck and Peck Funeral Home,the Rev. Paul Daniell, of the Pine Plains Methodist church officiating. Burial was in Vedders Cemetery, Gallatin
