DEER PARK, Wash., June 30. (Special.) — Elden T. Sweeney, 38, sawmill operator, died suddenly in a Spokane hospital Wednesday following a heart attack. Funeral services were held today, the Lauer Funeral Home in charge and the Rev. Roy Saferite officiating. Interment was made in Woodland Cemetery.

Surviving relatives are his wife, Winnie; two sons, Harold and Ronald, and one daughter, Pauline; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Sweeney, Deer Park; two brothers, Aron and L.R., Springdale; and two sisters, Mrs. A.W. Cull and Mrs. Clema Edlund of Spokane.

He was a native of York, North Dakota.
