Helen Winifred (Fellinger) Wisniewski, age 89, of Deer
Street, Dunkirk, NY died Wednesday afternoon March 26, 2008 at Brook's Memorial Hospital.She was born on December
28, 1918 in Portland, NY, the daughter of the late Alfred & Nellie (Weeks) Fellinger. A lifelong Dunkirk resident, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart School & Dunkirk High School. She was an office employee of Van Raalte & also sewed Army gloves for soldiers during WWII. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint & most especially taking care of her 10 grandchildren. She was a member of St. Elizabeth
Ann Seton Church & a former member of the Sheridan
Centerettes Home Bureau.Surviving are her son-Robert (Nancy) Wisniewski, her daughter- Mrs. Thomas (Anne) Massar, her daughter-in-law, Nancy (the late John) Wisniewski all of Dunkirk, her sister- Mary Ann
Polowy of Florida & her brother- Richard Fellinger of Dunkirk, 10 grandchildren- Leo, Martin & Kelly Wisniewski, Teresa Armstrong, Mrs. Brian (Kristin) Sykes, Mrs. Charles
(Cathryn) Sardo, Robert Wisniewski, Mrs. Robert (Jennifer) Banks, Thomas & Joseph Massar & 7 great grandchildren- Kendra Anne, Sean Patrick & Luke Jacob Sykes, John Michael

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 55 years- Leo J. Wisniewski who she married
on May 5, 1943 & who died on December 18, 1998, her
son- John Wisniewski who died December 18, 1997, 3 sisters- Mrs. Walter (Harriet) Elias, Mrs. Irwin (Eleanor) Palmer & Rita Fellinger & 5 brothers- Edwin, Raymond, Paul, Robert & Thomas Fellinger.
