Mrs. Cummings died Friday, July 23, 1993 at the University of Tennessee William R. Bowld Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was born May 11, 1937 in Caruthersville, Mo., to Woodrow Langston and Gertrude Jones Langston. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Kennett and was employed by the State of Missouri as a Tax Auditor.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Cummings of Caruthersville, Mo.; four sons, Terry Clark of Springfield, Mo., Michael Clark of Caruthersville, Mo., Dennis Clark of Altus, Okla., Randall Clark of Monmouth, Ill.; one daughter, Jana Cossey of Kennett; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher David and one sister, Gayle Evans.
