Andrew J. Moser, 67, Route 4, Pierz, died Monday, Nov. 4 in his home. He was born April 26, 1907, Watkins, son of the late John and Anna Moser. With his parents, he came to the Lastrup area at the age of 15. In 1927 he was married to Helen Litke in St. Mary's Church, Little Falls. For the past 35 years he and his family had made their home on their present farm in Platte Township. He has also served as custodian of the Harding School for 12 years prior to his retirement in 1970.
Mrs. Moser survives her husband, with seven sons and one daughter; Norman, LeRoy, Eugene, Andrew Jr. and Darryl, Brainerd; Harland and Gary, Pierz; and Mrs. Daniel (Shirley) Andres, Hillman. There are 21 grandchildren, and one great-grandson, Timothy Peterson. Brothers and sisters are John Moser, Mrs. Joseph (Theresa) Sauer and Mrs. Arthur (Viola) Sweeney, Little Falls; Gilbert Moser, Minneapolis; Mrs. Al (Rose) Kahlhamer, Mayville, Wis., and Anna Moser, St. Paul.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Holy Cross Church, Harding, with Rev. Leo Otto officiating and burial in the parish cemetery.
