Charles Wood, a prominent resident of Saudersburg (sic), died at his home Friday at 7 o'clock after a long illness. Death was due to heart trouble and asthma, with which complaints the deceased had been a sufferer for several years. He was a veteran of the Civil War. In late years he had been engaged in no special occupation and had lived in retirement. His wife died four years ago, but he is survived by two sons, Harry and George, both of this city.
