John Arronco, Sr. was born in Piverone, Italy, the son of Tony & Joseppa Brunello Arronco. He married Amelia Pavignano. He was a coal mine operator. He was found dead in a crevice near the Arronco Coal Mine in Carbon county Utah. Cause of death was listed as probable "coronary occulsion". He was 69 years, 10 months & 26 days of age.

PRICE- Funeral services for John Arronco, 69, who died last Sunday afternoon of a heart attack, will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic church with Father Thomas Butler officiating.

Mr. Arronco was born in Piverone, province of Torrone, Italy, on Feb. 4, 1876. He came to the United States in 1901 and to CArbon county in 1905. He worked at the Castle Gate and Kenilworth coal mines and was an organizer of the Mutual Coal Co., in Spring Canyon. In 1935 he opened the Arronco mine, which he owned at the time of his death.

Holy rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of the Mitchell funeral home. Burial will be in the Price City cemetery.
