Clive "Harry" Harrison Cob was born in Kentucky to James Pell Cobb and
Tabitha Cordelia Ashby Cobb.

He had six sisters: Lula, Rebecca, Mary, Laura Belle, Della and Ethel.
He also had four brothers: Guy, Bunn, James, John and William, who died
when he was a toddler.

In 1920, he married Pearl Longwell. Their children are: Nelva Bea, Thelma, Clive Jr.
and Gwynne.

In 1910, Harry started out as a gear builder in A carriage factory because he was good
with his hands. He was between jobs when he came to Montrose, taking any
job that was offered.
He eventually learned a very good trade and became a carpenter.

By 1940, the family was living in Montrose and owned the home they lived in.

In 1950, his dear wife had passed away and the children were all out of the home;
Harry decided to try his hand at farming; part time farming actually. It was hard
work to do on his own.

At the time of his death, he had 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
