Notes from our family bible.

When grandpa and grandma Power would come to visit the Sam Powers’, the children of that household always’ liked to see them come in. They came in trotting, with the old buggy with the wheels a spinning, and grandma’s bonnet strings flying behind, and the horses manes tossing around in the breeze. The buggy was led by their team, Little Billy and Kit. Grandpa had this team for many years. As they came in, Tip, their dog, was always running along some distance behind.
