Mrs. Hattie B. Dow
Mathews - Mrs. Hattie Brooks Dow, 83, of Shadow, died Thursday morning in a Richmond hospital.
She was the widow of Henry L. Dow and was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church, Susan, and a charter member of Oriental Chapter 30, OES, Mathews.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Grady Brooks of Richmond; two brothers, Vernon Brooks of Susan and Boswell Brooks of Shadow; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, by the Rev. A. Kenneth Lambdin, the Rev. W. J. Boyd, and the Rev. Morgan Smart.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Susan.
