LONACONING,MARYLAND -- Mrs. Emma A. McKenzie, 75, died Monday in Miners Hospital.

Born in Avilton, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Hetz) Garlitz. Her husband, Melvin McKenzie, preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the sodality, and of Goodwill Fire Company Auxiliary.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary B. Reagan, Chicago, and Mrs. Edna Patterson, Piedmont; two sons, Blaine and Ralph McKenzie, Lonaconing; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Miller, Lonaconing; Mrs. Ethel McKenzie, Frostburg; and Miss Della Garlitz, CUmberland; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited there tomorrow at 8 p.m. Requiem mass will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church by Rev. Frederick Duke.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery. The Cumberland
