Miss Della Garlitz, 68, of Avilton, died Tuesday. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Hetz) Garlitz. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Miller, Lonaconing, and Mrs. Ethel McKenzie, Frostburg. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home in Lonaconing where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home today at 8 p. m. Requiem mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 a. m. at St. Mary's Church, Lonaconing. Interment will be in St. Anne's Church Cemetery, Avilton. The Cumberland News, March 19, 1964.
