Betty Ozon Moore, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, was the daughter Isaac and Fannie Ozon. She will always be remembered as a lovely lady with a quirky sense of humor and a willingness to help everyone. For her entire adult life she was involved with AMIT women serving as Vice President and board member numerous times. She was also very involved with United Orthodox Synagogues Sisterhood and she would spend many days in the kitchen at the synagogue providing her baking "expertise" to many happy affairs.

She is survived by her husband, Abe "JoJo" Moore who loved and adored her for sixty-three years, her children, Steven Moore and wife Denise, Michael Moore, Myra Soffar and husband Damon, Beverly Kogut. The jewels of her life, her grandchildren, Jeffrey Davis and wife Ann, Sam Davis, Neil Kogut, Mindy Kogut, Stacie Moore and Amanda Moore. She is also survived by her brother Albert Ozon and wife Shirley; her sisters Doris Levin, Celia Holste and husband Fred, and Ruth Stevenson, and sister-in-law and best friend, Evelyn Reichenthal and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, in the Adath Israel Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thanks to: Hattie Johnson, Jeannie McDaniel, Cherry Britton, Andrea Cook, and Tracy Smiley. The family would also like to thank Andrea Eisentstein for all of her help.
