Graveside services for Mrs. Jewel Carey, 90, were officiated by Rev. Fred Porter, pastor of Breckenrige First Baptist Church. Her parents were early day Stephens County settlers. She was a member of Monahans First Baptist Church.
Survived by two daughters - Mrs. W.S. Lentz and Mrs. Joe Goodwin; two sons - Troy Carey and J.A. Carey, Jr; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
One son - Cecil Carey, preceded her in death.
