When a young man, Mr. Ingersoll and his brothers came west and settled in Dodge county. Among the older people he was well known and highly respected.
In the year 1876 he was married to Miss Mary Daniels. Two children were born of this union - Elizabeth who died February 5, 1896 and Grover who still lives in Wasioja. Mrs. Ingersoll died in October 1894. On Thanksgiving eve, 1901, Mr. Ingersoll was again married to Mrs. Anna Gale who survives him. One brother, Alonzo _____________(copy cut off). The sympathy of many friends is extended to the wife and family.
