Mrs. Stroble Dies At 53
Luttie Wood, 53, 228 E. Water St., died Saturday evening st the Jay County Hospital following a long illness. She was born on Sep. 30, 1911 in Emporia, Kas., daughter of Alva Wood. She was married Earl Stroble Dec. 22, 1937. Surviving are son, Orville, Richmond, three brohers, Cecil O. Wood, Ridgeville, Walter W. Wood, Redkey, Charles B. Wood, Sturgis, Mich. She was a member of the Eagles Auxillary and the Ladies Auxillary of V.F.W. Funeral services will be in the Tuesday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Bush will officiate. Burial will be in the Salamonia Cemeetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after Monday noon.
