Susanna, born @ Winchester, N.H., 8/29/1740; married 1st Aaron Shepherd on 11/18/1759. They were married in Litchfield, Conn., by Jacob Woodruff, Justice of the Peace. She was his second wife. She married 2nd on 11/25/1784 Capt Simeon Stevens of Newbury, VT., who died 7/6/1788, aged 52 years. She married 3rd on 10/1789 James Corliss.
On her 100th birthday, they made a part to celebrate the event. There were so many present they were obliged to go to the church for room. She took cold & died 10/4/1840, & was buried in the Lincoln Cemetery @ Greensboro.
(Deaths) In Greensborn, widow Susanna Corlis, aged 101 years 25 days. She had 3 husbands, 3 children and 43 grand children, and 101 great greatgrand children. She had enjoyed a Christian hope 85 years, exemplified its fruits in her life, and receiving its support in her death. On her centenary birthday she rode more than 2 miles.
