STEWART LAUGHLIN DIED YESTERDAY. One of the oldest residents of Jefferson County, Stewart C. LAUGHLIN, passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock at his home a quarter of a mile west of Libertyville. Mr. LAUGHLIN was taken sick Sunday morning with inflammation of the bowels and his death came as a great shock to his relatives and many friends. Mr. LAUGHLIN was 69 years of age the 10th of this month, and about sixty years of his life had been spent near Libertyville. He served in the Civil War and was a member of the Third Iowa Cavalry, being in Company F. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Ollie, and a grandson, Lon Fishel, who made his home with them. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 o'clock from the house and the remains taken to the Dunkard church and interred in the cemetery there.
