Fred Sexton, age 90, passed away Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Ky.
He was born July 14, 1917, the son of the late Leo and Alice Carrender Sexton.
On June 6, 1942, he married Kathleen Brown Sexton, who passed away January 19, 1997.
He is survived five children-Paula Sexton, Ronnie, Roger, Gary and Terry Sexton; one sister-Lorene Brake of Huntsville, Ind.; 22 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter-Rita Dobbs; and several brothers and sisters.
He worked in the lumber industry and was a member of the New Town Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bill Dick officiating. Burial was in the Alexander Cemetery.
