Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Margaret Carlisle Wilson, passed away on June 17, 2009 at CareSource Hospice in Holladay, Utah.

Born April 30, 1919 in Bluebell, Duchesne County, Utah, the oldest of 10 children born to Charles Luther and Margaret Burt Carlisle.

She lived in Millcreek until age 12 when her family moved to Payson, Utah.

She married the love of her life, Orval Ivan Wilson, on June 21, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Margaret served actively in many callings in the LDS Church. Member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved sewing, golfing, and gardening, but her greatest love was her family.

Survived by her husband; daughters, Margaret Ann Merkley (Jay), Glenda Burton (Jerald) and Carol Morgan (John); 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Black, Ila Peterson and Lois Moore; brother, David Carlisle. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joann Finch; brothers, Gerald, Elmo, Ivan, and Grant Carlisle.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 12 noon in the Grant Stake Center, 3151 South 900 East, Millcreek Township. Friends and family may call on Friday at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, from 6-8 p.m. and also on Saturday at the Ward Building one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
