Ewell Exum
Services for Ewell N. Exum, 69, of Ropesville are pending with Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home of Lubbock.
Exum died Saturday afternoon in Methodist Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Childress County and moved to Ropesville in 1938. He married Trissie Allen May, 11, 1935 in Lubbock.
He was justice of the peace in Ropesville. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Jimmie of Corpus Christi and Lonnie of Levelland, a daughter, Sylvia Phillips of Levelland; two brothers, Earnest of Lubbock and Ermer of New Deal; and seven grandchildren.
