Mrs. Pearl Moad, aged 39 years, died at her home on Carleton avenue and Eleventh street, last Saturday morning about 2 o'clock after an illness of several years. The funeral services were held at the home Monday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. D.K. Foster of the First Baptist Church in charge of the services. She leaves, in addition to her son, Alva, a mother, Mrs. Addie Lippard, with whom she made her home, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Johnson, who also lives here.
