Mrs. Lucy J. Priest
Mrs. Lucy Jane Priest, 79, widow of Presley Priest died this morning at 5 o'clock in her home in Madison township. She had been ill since February.
Mrs. Priest was born in Mary Ann township, Licking county, Jan. 17, 1852, the daughter of Cornelius Damue. Surviving are seven sons, Dr. Fred Priest George Priest of Newark; Everett of St. Lousiville; Arthur of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Dr. Benjamin H. Priest and Roy Priest of Bakersfield, Calif. and Clarence H. Priest of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Ollie Brant of Fredonia; Mrs. Bessie Martin of Madison township and Mrs. Grace Anderson of Dresden; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Goldie Pigg, died three years ago.
Mrs. Priest was a member of the Haonover Methodist church.
THe funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the home, and burial will be made in Hanover cemetery. Funeral directors, Criss Brothers.
