Michael Dale Nelson was born Michael Dale Minnick and changed last name when he got older.
Born to Robert Earl and Viola "Billie" Brown Minnick Sep.10,1949 in Morrilton Arkansas. Passed away on May 15,2009 in Fontana,California.He is survived by his wife Joanne of Riverside, California,two sisters; William (Koneta) LeVan of Springfield, Ohio, Thomas(Mikki)Bolt of Bossier City, Louisiana, one brother Robert Minnick of Springfield,Ohio,3 step-children,8 grandchildren,2 great grandchildren,several neices and nephews.

He was preseded in death by his parents and father Walter Lee Nelson,two sisters Donna Hamby and Zelma Harrison both of Cabot Arkansas. He served in the military the Air Force from Dec. 03 1968 to 1976 then the Navy after reaching the rank of sergeant.He also served in Vietnam. He was a truckdriver for Werner Enterprises,C & L Trucking,J.B.Hunt. Funeral services were held on Thursday May 21,2009 at 11:15 a.m. with Pastor Albert Shade officiating. Interment was at Riverside National Cemetery.
