WAYNESBORO-Floyd David Arnold, 81, of Waynesboro died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Maple Lawn Assisted Living in Staunton. He was born March 22, 1928, in Augusta County, a son of Harry Wallace and Ada Weaver Arnold.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Bryant and Mary McNeill. Survivors include two brothers, Wallace Arnold of Waynesboro and Earl Arnold of Lyndhurst and one sister, Bernice Grove of Waynesboro. He also is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009, at Springdale Mennonite Church Cemetery by Dr. Glen Holman.
Friends may visit at the homes of his brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to McDow Funeral Home, 1701 Main St., Waynesboro, VA 22980 to help with funeral expenses.
