Currently of Chicago, Ill. Age 75. Passed away while vacationing in North Miami, Fla. on Sunday, February 20, 1994. She was born in St. Kilian, Wis. on June 11, 1918, daughter of Herman and Catherine (nee: Mueller) Simon. In Barton, Wis. on January 11, 1941, she was united in marriage to Anton Robert "Bob" Uyvari, who preceded her in death June 3, 1967. She was a Homemaker and former member of St. Clare Catholic church, Wind Lake, Wis.
Surviving are four sons, Richard M., Michael J., both of Chicago, Ill., Joseph H. of Austin, Texas, Christopher J. of Florence, N.J., one daughter, Mary Therese (Gregory Luke) Carter of Woodstock, Ga.; five grandchildren, Jamin, Blake, and Micah Carter, Joan and Elizabeth Uyvari, five sisters, Madeline Kruse of Milwaukee, Wis., Imelda Zingsheim of Allenton, Wis., Catherine Petersen of Norma, Okla., Dorothy (H. "Marty") Martin of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., Norma Simon of West Bend, Wis., one brother-in-law, Lawrence Mageean of Laguna Hills, Calif.; and a very special friend, Joseph F. La Pat of Chicago, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Mark Jeffrey and Robert Anthony; four brothers, Rupert Simon, Felix Simon, Beno Simon, and Herman Simon; and three sisters, Marie Mageean, Luciana Wolf, and Rita Peters.
Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Saturday, February 26, 1994, at 12 noon with Rev. Dennis VanBeek officiating. Interment at St. Thomas Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. in St. Thomas Church.
