In the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. August F. Neumann, on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, Pastor W. Rech united in marriage Mr. Helmuth F. Arps and Miss Elsie Neumann. Only close relatives attended the ceremony. The rooms of the Neumann residence were beautifully decorated for the occasion. The bride is the second daughter of the well-known building contractor August F. Neumann and his wife who was born a Jochmann. The bride was born and raised in Kiel, and received a good education. She was for many years a teacher at our public school and has acquired a large circle of friends. The chosen one of her heart, is the son of a well-known and the esteemed couple, Mr. and Mrs. John K. Arps from New Holstein. After the groom graduated from the public school in his hometown, he studied to become a lawyer and has opened an office in Chilton. He is an industrious young man and appears to have a bright future in front of him. Following the wedding there was an opulent wedding meal and happy family celebration. In the late afternoon, the newlyweds left by automobile on a honeymoon, and when they return will make their home in Chilton. Our Best Wishes.
