Mrs. Dorinda C. Beck for 23 years a resident of near Harristown, died in Decatur and and Macon county hospital Sunday morning following an illness of six years duration. She had been in the hospital since last Wednesday when she underwent a major operation.
She was born Dorinda Dotson near Niantic on July 25,1870. In 1888 she married Richard T. Beck and since her marriage she had been living hear Harristown.
Beside her husband she leaves five children,Mrs.Reva May Gass of Niantic, Mrs.Ruth Davis,Mrs.Pearl C. Bernard and Ross and Earl Beck all of Decatur. She also leaves two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be Tuesday in the Christian church with burial in the Harristown cemetery.
