HAS PASSED AWAY
Mrs. J.N. McFarland, who had been in ill health for some time, passed away at her home on west Main street Monday evening at a few minutes before seven o'clock, aged about 72 years.
Besides her husband, Capt. J.N. McFarland, county treasurer for many years, she leaves two sons, Frank P., cashier of the Augusta National Bank and Wallace P. McFarland, of the treasurer's office. Also, two brothers. Before marriage she was Miss Mary Elizabeth Wallace, of the county. Mrs. McFarland was an estimable woman and had many friends in the city and county.
The funeral will be from the residence at five o'clock Wednesday afternoon, the service to be conducted by her pastor, Rev. A.M. Fraser, D.D.
