Died, at Fruitland, Tuesday, Judge R.M. Woods, aged 82 years. Mr. Woods was a very prominent citizen of this county and has held in the past many responsible positions. He leaves a wife and several grown children to mourn his death. He will be buried at Pleasant Hill graveyard today. (Jackson Herald, March 27, 1902, p.3 col.6)
