Mrs. Pauline Dusek Dies

A well-known resident of Hill County for more than 50 years, Mrs. Pauline Dusek, 85, died in a local nursing home Thursday night. Funeral services will be conducted at Holland and Bonine funeral home, 2 p.m., Tuesday.

Mrs. Dusek was born in Temice, Czechoslavakia, March 25, 1892, and came to the United States in 1913. She worked in Pittsburgh, Pa., two years and came to Hill County in 1915. On Oct. 13 of that year she was married to Fred Dusek, Sr., at Havre. He died May 30, 1976.

For twenty years the Duseks had lived in the Hingham community and in 1928 moved to Box Elder. In 1939 the Duseks moved to Havre.

Mrs. Dusek is survived by sons, Fred Dusek, Jr. and Jerry Dusek, Havre; daughters, Mrs. Joe (Mary) Pleskac; Mrs. Frank (Julia) Pleskac, Havre; Mrs. George (Rose) Brandt, Oxnard, Calif.; Mrs. Kenny (Lydia) Rice, Aurora, Colo. and Mrs. James (Betty) Cloud, Greenville, Texas; three brothers and three sisters in Czechoslavakia.
