SJ-R (Springfield, IL) - 21 Dec 1993 Faye Taft 94, of Lincoln, formerly of Springfield, died at 8:22 a.m.
Monday at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
She was born Jan. 13, 1899, in Iola, the daughter of Adonijaha and Sierra Nevada Pridemore Fancher. She married Elwin E. Taft in 1920. Preceding her in death were her husband in 1983, four sisters, a brother and a great-grandchild.
Mrs. Taft was a member of Harvard Park Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, J.R. Taft of Lincoln and Ray Taft of Hardy, Ark.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bisch and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery
