Services for Carroll I. Ammar, 63, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Ammar died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 26, 1941, in Paducah, Ky., the daughter of Roy and Laurie Williams Ikerd. She moved to Lawrence in 1969 from Evanston, Ill.

Mrs. Ammar graduated from Northwestern University in 1963 with a bachelor's degree in engineering science.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of University Women's Club, Trinity Episcopal Church and former president of Prairie Acres Garden Club.

She married Raymond G. Ammar June 17, 1961, in Paducah. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Ammar, Torrance, Calif.; and a son, David Ammar, Oakland, Calif.

A son, Robert H. Ammar, died Oct. 6, 1992.
