Robert (Rob) H. Ammar, 27, formerly of Lawrence, will be 3 p.m. Friday at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Grant Clowers officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Ammar died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1992, at his home in San Francisco of an accidental drug overdose.
He was born Sept. 6, 1965, in Evanston, Ill., the son of Raymond and Carroll Ikerd Ammar. He attended public schools in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1983.
Survivors include his parents, of Lawrence; a brother, David, Ann Arbor, Mich.; a sister, Elizabeth Ammar, Los Angeles; his maternal grandmother, Laurie Gray, Murray, Ky.; and his paternal grandmother, Nellie Ammar, Kingston, Jamaica.
