Mary was my great grandmother, my maternal grandmother's mother. She married Jim (James H.) Mitchell in Claiborne Parish on March 3, 1869. They continued to live in Claiborne parish until Jim died. He is buried in Hico, Louisiana at Henry Cemetery. His name is James H. Mitchell and he fought in the Civil War as a private in the Gray's 28th Infantry in Company I. She and her children moved down into Bienville Parish after his death. Her children are Lilla Autrey(she is buried beside her), Nannie Collinsworth, Fannie Riddle, Bessie Riddle, Tal Mitchell, and Charlie Mitchell.
