Thomas Eaden was born in Banbury, England, on August 3, 1856, and came to East Aurora, N. Y., when he was 14 years old. He was married to Winnifred Allard in 1878, and 11 years later they came to Oregon, settling on a homestead near Blaine, Ore., where they lived for six years before coming to Oregon City. He had lived here for 35 years.
Besides the widow, Winnifred Allard Eaden, he is survived by eight children, 36 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mary___ and Anna Blakely in East Aurora, N. Y. Three children are not living. The eight surviving children are Mrs. Mabel Ross of Bolton, Mrs. Mary Riebhoff of Logan, Mrs. Nellie Schmale of Carver, Mrs. Bessie Phillips of Sebastopol, Cal., Mrs. Winnie Hill of Canemah, George and Arthur Eaden of Logan and Ed Eaden of Pendleton.
