Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Jouett, 93, of the Barnes Ridge Community in Monroe, were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Ledbetter officiating. Burial was in Hatcher Hall Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Jouett died Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a factory worker, a housewife, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Born February 4, 1909, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late T.P. and Mattie Wilborn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Jouett; and a son, Frank Jouett.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. William Ray Jouett, Little Rock, AR, and Noel T. Jouett, Monroe; a sister, Mary Sells, Ohio; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
