He was born in Minnora, Calhoun County, a son of the late George and Ardela Siers. He was a timberman and a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Hallie Sampson Siers; four sons, Walter, Melvin, Homer, and Robert Siers, all of Nicut; a daughter, Mrs Pearl Wildman of Akron, Ohio; three half brothers, Creed and Blake, both of Orma, and George Siers in Pa.; and eight grandchildren.
