Greenview, Ill., Aug. 18. - Mrs. Dora A. Derry, died at her home in Greenview on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 10:45 p.m. after a very brief illness.
Mrs. Derry was born at Petersburg, Ill. on Sept 25, 1868 being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Ennis.
She united with the church at an early age and was a consistent Christian.
She spent her early life in Menard county and on June 2, 1891 was united in marriage to Addison E. Derry to which union were born three children, Edna, Leta and Esther, who survive.
She is also survived by one sister, Martha Markwell, of Kingman, Kan.; and five brothers, John and George Ennis, of Petersburg; I.S. Ennis, of Greenview; and Dr. Seba Ennis and Dr. Emory Ennis, of Springfield.
The funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian church.
The interment was in Elmwood cemetery.
