Lucille E. (Hobson) Baker of Bedford, IN, died Monday, September 1, 2003, at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born on June 30, 1918, she was the daughter of Jacob and Nellie (Hoopingarner) Hobson. She married Lawrence L. Baker on June 20, 1936, and he died in 1995.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Gladys Tincher and Cynthia Sanders; one brother, Melvin Hobson; two sons (in infancy), Harol Eugene and Erviin Lee Baker; and one half-brother, Bill Robinson.

She was a homemaker.

Services for Lucille Baker will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Kenneth Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
