Parents: John Franklin London & Cora Kate (Sheffield) London; h - Charles Francis Howard, daughter: Marjory Frances "Francie" Howard.

Per Georgia Conway:
"Helen Margaret London Howard (known as "Margaret") worked at the Percy Johnson ranch and later as housekeeper and cook at the Ray Ranch in Praire City, OR for George Moore Ray Sr. and sons after George's wife Elizabeth Ann "Bess" Thompson Ray passed in 1962. Margaret continued on as housekeeper and cook for the sons Will and George Ray, after George Moore Ray Sr passed. We were always told that Margaret was a "mail-order" bride. In fact, Helen "Margaret" London was living with Charles Francis Howard (1884-1958) and his first wife Margaret Helen "Maude" Sheffield Howard as "niece" in the 1930 and 1940 censuses. Helen "Margaret" London was niece through her aunt, Margaret Helen "Maude" Sheffield, the sister of her mother Cora Kate Sheffield. After "Maude" died in 1941, Charles Francis Howard and Margaret London married 19 Jun 1946 in Baker, Oregon. They had a daughter Marjory Frances "Francie" Howard born 2 Oct 1947. Charles Francis Howard died in 1958. FindAGrave for Helen Margaret London Howard says that her parents were John London and Lou Crabtree. However, Acadia records show that John London married Cora Kate Sheffield in New Brunswick, Canada (he died there in 1918). FindAGrave also says that Helen Margaret London was born in Massachusetts, but she is listed in the 1921 Canada census as born in New Brunswick, Canada along with her mother Cora Kate London & brother Harry. Cora Kate London died in 1925. By way of the Canadian Pacific Railway, Helen "Margaret" London immigrated to the US at the Port of Washington going to her aunt "Maude" in Prairie City, Or. Her previous residence was with her sister Florence Mabel (Sheffield) Gaynes in New Brunswick, Canada."
