William W. Koiner Jr., 63, of 209 Mt. View Drive, died at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 10, 1978) in King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born in Augusta County on Oct. 18, 1915, son of William Wise and Annie (Yount) Koiner.
He was retired from Morton Salt Co. on March 31, 1977, and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He was also a member of Staunton Lions Club and Elliott's Knob Aerie 680, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Frances (Prestwood) Koiner; four sisters, Mrs. Noel H. Moody, Mrs. Howard E. Miller, Mrs. Wade H. Barker and Mrs. H. Grady Erwin, all of Staunton; one aunt, Miss Katherine Koiner, Staunton; and 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
Burial will be in Thornrose Cemetery.
