Mrs. Anna Roberta Yount Koiner, beloved wife of W.W. Koiner, passed away Wednesday, April 16, at her home, 40 Thornrose avenue, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Koiner was born in Scottsville, Albemarle county, April 24, 1878, the daughter of David Benjamin and Roberta Cushing Yount. She married Mr. Koiner at Laurel Hill on March 20, 1901, and had resided since that time in Staunton and Augusta County.
Surviving are her husband, William Wise Koiner, and six children; Mrs. Nole H. Moody of Staunton; David Randolph Koiner of Washington D.C., Mrs. Howard Edward Miller of Dayton, O.; Misses Katherine and Thelma Koiner and William Worth Koiner of this city; a sister, Miss Mary Belle Yount of Washington, D.C., and brother, David Benjamin Yount of Detroit, Mich., also two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Thornrose cemetery.

STAUNTON -- The funeral of Mrs. Anna Roberta Yount Koiner, who died at her home here Wednesday after a long illness, was held Friday morning, conducted by the Rev, Raymond D. Wood, former pastor of Christ Lutheran Church of which Mrs. Koiner long had been a loyal member, assisted by the Rev. T. T. Jacobs of the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Thornrose Cemetery.
